The day when the measurements became standard all over the day is surely a day to remember by and to celebrate.May 20th is the day when the first document regarding to collaboration of nations on scientific measurements was signed.
May 20th is thus celebrated as world metrology day.Measurement is a way to check on the things
Measurement is normally relative.i.e.. it is done by comparing one with other.comparison helps in competition thus improving performance.Due to different standards there may be lack of understanding.The collaboration was the first step in standardization to fill in those gaps.


The convention also called as Treaty of the metre is also resposible for formulation of the now commonly used SI units.So lets celebrate the day on which the measurements were united.
