New Year Eve

New Year eve is probably the most watchful day of the entire 365 days of the year. The last day of the year is as eagerly expected as the first day of the upcoming year...The night of this day is the transition between the old year and the new year.

  • Should we celebrate for the reason that new year is coming? or
  • Should we celebrate for the reason that we have learnt from the mistakes of last year? or
  • Should we celebrate for the new hopes? or for forgetting bad memories?
Whatever we do we can celebrate this day for many reasons. Here is an less known(relatively) but interesting fact.
December 31 is also known as January 0
If you value 0 then this day is the beginning of the new year.(If you do not try removing the zeros from your income..) It indicates that every new beginning begins at the ending,This January 0 came into concept during the 1900s when the ephemeris tables(table of values for astronomical calculations) were introduced. This was one of the first applications of mechanical computers. For those who use computers(most) the occasion can be celebrated as the beginning of early steps in the age of computing..

Let the reason be anything, celebrate the new year eve and enjoy..

Hello

Hello World!!

Our world is everything except us.When we address as world it is the way we see our surroundings. So,greeting the world as I see it,I will try to put forth my ideas to everyone through this blog.

Life is nothing but a series of works always included with feelings. To make that work easier HAPPY feelings help.So why not be happy everyday by celebrating for one or the other occasion. The word celebrate has the following dictionary meanings
  •  Any joyous diversion.
  •  A day or event with ceremonies of respect, festivity, or rejoicing.
  • To engage in festivities.
  • To make widely known.
The word itself indicates its all about being happy. The word celebrate is derived from the Latin word   "celebrre, celebrt"  meaning "to frequent" .So let us do the justice to celebration by celebrating everyday.

Good day!!

Hello

Hello again,

Lets celebrate today for the beginning of this blog.
There is a saying in India which translates to as
"There are 365 days of festival in a year if you need it."
Meaning that all the days in a year is a festival.Oh, Don't tell me there is a 366th day in the leap year.Let us celebrate it as the leap year day...

So, Celebrate.....
